They oversaw us putting all new windows and doors at the house as well as a new slate roof, bringing it unto date and securing its longevity using the best products possible. We changed it from an aluminium roof to a slate roof and are delighted with the results. Scott has been so helpful throughout the process and managing the logistics of the work on a remote island, carrying out most of the work in Winter whilst the house was unlet. Renewal of rendering, Ross of Mull.

Scott and Peter have just finished renewing the rendering on my cottage in the Ross of Mull. This was the second phase of the project - earlier in the year they had re-roofed the same building. As before, I found them business-like, positive in their attitude, skilled, and very, very hard-working. They kept to the quote and the timetable, tidied up as they went along, answered questions quickly and clearly, and paid great attention to detail. Donald, who works for them, was also industrious and obliging. We enjoyed having them about and are absolutely delighted with the end result. I can happily recommend them!

“Re-roofing of bungalow McCamley & Laird were the contractors who recently reroofed our bungalow, according to the appropriate Redland specification. The work involved removing all the old tiles and the solar panels, removing the original battens, replacing small areas of water damaged sarking and replacing some lead in two valleys. The roof was then prepared for the new tiles with the appropriate water resist membrane and new battens according to the specification. The new tiles were then fitted and the solar panels returned. The work was carried out carefully with few interruptions. Scott and Peter were always cheerful and positive. We are very pleased with the work. McCamley & Laird have responded quickly to all minor issues after the account had been paid in full.”
